Under the direction of Grammy-award-winning conductor Cristian Macelaru, we had the rare opportunity to watch the orchestra prepare for Tan Dun’s world premiere of his new Concerto for Clarinet.
Rachmaninov’s Symphony No. 2 was also on the program.
Venue : Maison de la Radio et de la Musique, Paris, Orchestre National de France.

We joined Cristian Macelaru for a drink and a question and answer session after the rehearsal.
